C-track Solo: A full featured scaleable, remotely upgradeable mobile solution developed specifically for the Professional Hauler, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Mobile Workforce Management & Emergency Services applications.
PLATFORM
C-track Solo is based on a newly developed hardware platform utilising the Global Positioning System (GPS) to provide vehicle position to within 10 metres average accuracy and the GSM (MTN) networks to transmit information real time 24-hours a day, all year round.
This information can be sent directly to the customers base station, or first processed by the Adata C-Track Limited Information Bureau to provide the customers with useful information to manage his fleet optimally.

Driver Console Unit: Customers focused on a robust controllable Voice solution can opt for the Driver Console Unit with hands free voice kit which stores 8 outgoing telephone numbers, for driver communications. It also receives and displays text messages from the base station. User-defined messages confirming events and statuses can also be pre-programmed for Driver transmission to the base station. Acting as a proactive driver-training tool it also audibly warns the driver combined with a visual message if he exceeds any safety parameters like speed and revs.

GSM: The C-track Solo system utilizes unique compression technology, which allows the system to transmit a maximum of 26 positions in one SMS message if we record and store speed with every GPS position.

Data call can be made to the unit if only periodic data transmission is required weekly or monthly

GPRS is a new communication technology introduced by most global GSM networks. It allows a significant reduction in communication costs compared to traditional SMS, while allowing many new and enhanced functionalities to be added. GPRS was added to DigiCore' s product range after more than 18 months of extensive testing on many GPRS networks worldwide. In keeping with DigiCore' s high product and development standards, the C-track communication module was completely redesigned with GPRS as the main communication mode and multiple, user-selectable SMS fallback modes ensuring failsafe communication for security applications. Currently, DigiCore' s GPRS implementation is the most comprehensive in the industry, allowing full user control over GSM network selection, roaming partners and communication costs.
Over the air upgradeable: This means that once the Solo unit is installed in the vehicle, all software or modular upgrades can be done remotely via the GSM network anywhere in then world without effecting vehicle productivity and customers operations.

Driver identification by means of the driver console unit which immobilizes the vehicle and only allows authorized drivers to operate the vehicle

Remote immobilization allows the fleet operator to safely immobilize the vehicle from the base station or a personal cell phone in case of an emergency

Areas Alarms - The C-track Solo allows the fleet operator
to program areas of operation specific for each vehicle
remotely. The intelligent C-track SOLO unit aware of its
own location every second will immediately alert the base
station in case a vehicle enters an area that it is not
allowed into. The preferred area function allows the exit
from an area to be alerted. Up to 200 Areas can be uploaded
into the C-track SOLO.
